6 Reasons Why Calling Black People Racist Is Inaccurate

It’s a difficult argument that I’ve heard proposed by some blacks since the 60’s. That blacks aren’t racist is like saying water isn’t wet. But perhaps it would be wise to define what we mean by the word “racism.” Racism is to characterize a whole race, as something innate to it, by or through the characteristics exhibited by one individual or one small sample, such as a prison culture, or a rap group, or a political club of Democratic women.
I’ve lived among blacks for years, both in Detroit and in Denver, and it is actually far more common to hear a black saying, “White folks this” or white folks that” than it is to hear whites talking about blacks with as much openness or freedom. The racial distinction “white folks” followed by a description, whether good or bad, is racism. White supremacy is a statement about one race subjugating another. Whether true or not, it is a racial and therefore racist point of view. If I call you “black,” I’ve given you a designation that identifies a racial characteristic. Consciousness of race is racism. Distinguishing particular features that are largely unique to all people I call black is racism.
Black prejudice towards whites is in fact out in the open, blatant and aggressive, because whites know they’ve got it coming and shut up about it. It’s permitted. It’s politically correct to nod and say, “Yeah, true, dude” rather than to challenge any hypocrisy that might be apparent.
But of course, to admit that white supremacy exists, by virtue of what it is, is to automatically acknowledge black racism, because you don’t grow up under racial oppression and not hate your racist oppressor.
And to suggest, as this article does, that “Up until the 17th century, racial classification was unheard of” is complete bullshit. Study Jewish history. Rather than denying that blacks are racist, it would be far more effective to have a serious discussion — for the benefit of those who don’t recognize it — about white racism and white supremacy. But if blacks want allies, and they want me to believe the unbelievable, then they lose all their credibility. The solution for those of us who are aware of it is to restrict its growth by whatever means are available, but not through denial. We should start any discussion with the truth.
Yes, blacks have been almost entirely assimilated into the dominant white culture. Blacks worship all the white gods, from Jesus to the Escalade. They have made it theirs wherever they have been given strength and opportunity. They dominate in sports and they dominate in music. And behind it all is white money bankrolling it all. The only solution for blacks is economic strength and a desire to nuke Detroit, because I don’t think there’s any hope left for this town.
